The neighborhood
The Buenos Aires shopping district is an elegant and lively area of Milan. You will "feel" Milan! You can find all kind of clothing stores (from the most elegant shops to the sportswear), perfumeries, books shops, accessories shops and many other stores. If you need something to eat there are many fast foods, cafe shops, ice-cream parlours and there is also any kind of restaurants and pizzerias. The famous theatre of contemporary art “Elfo Puccini” is just around the corner and few street away there is a multiplex cinema. Close to the apartment there are also two supermarkets, one grocery store and one very good fishmonger. Saturday and Tuesday morning few streets away from the apartment is held a lively and colourful market where you can find all kind of foodstuff. If you can walk a little more, the “Indro Montanelli” public gardens, the Natural history museum and the Planetarium are within a 15 minutes walking distance.
A tour in the surroundings
Corso Buenos Aires, one of the main shopping streets of Milan is just few steps from the apartment. You can reach Porta Venezia, one of the old town gates, in 10 minutes by foot. By the metro (red line M1) that is just around the corner you can be in any place in Milan in few minutes! In 3 stops you can reach San Babila and in 4 stops Piazza Duomo, the main square of the city. The M1 red line can leads you to FieramilanoRho Trade Fair Centre and to Expo Milano and Fieramilanocity. From the Milan Central Railway Station you can reach the apartment by foot (10 min) or by the bus N° 60 (3 stops, bus runs every 8 min). From Linate airport you can take the bus n°73 (bus runs every 8 minutes), get off at San Babila (last stop) and take the metro red line (M1) for 3 stops up to Lima station. From the airports of Malpensa or Orio al Serio (Bergamo) you can take the bus (Malpensa Shuttle, Autostradale or Terravision) up to the Central railway station and from there you can reach the apartment by foot or by bus. The apartment out of the C area (restricted traffic area) and then it can be reached by car.

The house is completely furnished of pots dishes and glasses. In the kitchen there are a fridge, electric cookers, electric oven (microwave + fan-assisted), washing machine, american coffe machine. There are also an electric iron and ironing board, a hairdryer and a LCD 32 inches TV.

Check-in time is usually set between h.14:00 and h.20:00, while check-out shall be within h.10:00 AM of the day of departure. In case the guest has different needs, we may arrange accordingly, depending on availability.

At the check-in, as required by the italian law, you will be asked to sign a simple vacation rental contract.

Please be respectful towards the other guests and do not smoke inside the apartment! Il is possible to smoke outside, in the little terrace, in a corner covered from the rain.

The space
Lima apartment is a nice and comfortable studio in a wonderful position, just one-minute walk from Lima metro station (M1 red line), 9 minutes from Central Railway station, just few steps from all kinds of shops of Buenos Aires street. The studio is located on the 2ond floor with elevator and it is really quiet because it overlooks a bright inner courtyard. There is air conditioning, heating and free and fast internet connection wi-fi. The apartment consists of a sitting room with sofa-bed where the guests can relax watching a 32 LCD TV, eating-corner with extendable 4 seater dining table, separate, completely furnished, kitchen with induction cooktop, integrated oven (microwave+convection), refrigerator, washing machine and two windows. The queen size bed (140 x 200 cm) is located on a loft (height 170 cm) that you can reach with an easy stair with banister. A built-in wardrobe can easily contain all the personal belongings of the guests. The bathroom, with window, has washbasin, WC and shower box. The apartment has also a very little private terrace with armchair, covered from the rain.

Marina & Stefano
The studio will be almost always delivered by one of us (Marina or Stefano). We live just 5-minutes walk from the apartment and we can be helpful for all your needs. We speak Italian, English, Spanish and a little French. We will advise you on the best places to visit, best shops and restaurants. We live in the same neighborhood and we know it very well.
We are a researcher in food and agriculture (Marina) and a business consultant (Stefano). We have been married for 18 years and we have two daughters. We love reading, travelling (we lived in California for a while) and spend time with our family. We have recently bought a lovely studio that we have redecorated by ourselves during our spare time. We will be very happy to host all the people that want to stay there and we will do all our best to make them comfortable.
